Image loading #24

I have noticed that images load in a strange way at the moment. Everything gets layered on top of one another in a slowish fashion. Will things speed up once we go live? Is Nick’s server a bit slow? What do you think?

Just got your e-mail, Marty. I actually kind of like the stacking of the images on load and don't think that necessarily needs to be fixed, though the slowness of the loading is an issue. Also, I wouldn't mind moving the loading icon down from the top of the screen and making it more prominent in some way - I feel it's a bit camouflaged at the moment...

I've done a couple of things re: loading. I've made the thumbnails a smaller image size, so they load up quicker. And then I've moved the "Loading..." flag to the bottom center of the screen.

@gehalber @KyleETC If you'd like to see this "Loading..." flag styled or positioned differently, let me know and we can re-open this ticket. Closing for now...
