Running on Windows 5.1 build 2600 32-bit

Checking for Administrator rights: OK Checking for 32-bit system: OK ERROR: command BCDEDIT is missing! Press any key for exit...

This is while I am running Windows XP and I am not sure what exactly to do

Bcdedit is Vista+ only. I guess that when they made this patch, they actually forgot to still consider XP.

same issue here. maybe this patch was created for dual booting Windows XXX + XP because EasyBCD has never supported XP @eXPc023

I didn't use the batch file but printed out instructions to txt file and manually applied the patch.

there are two available files. (exe and cmd files) so you copied the cmd file content into another txt file ? I need user instructions for dummies like me.

Ok it shouldn't be too difficult to work this around https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/tool-convertnt5skus-convert-windows-nt-5-x-skus-v3-0-0-rc1.84416/page-10#post-1835084

Though it is contended that the only "proper" fix for XP is WinXPPAE v3.5.
