Missing connection between 3C-PCR and PCR evidence #152

I notice there is no connection between 3C-PCR http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/ECO_0000236

and PCR evidence http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/ECO_0000082

Shouldn't there be?

I assume the plan is that the detailed modeling of the steps should go in OBI, and ECO would shadow with a simple subclass hierarchy. How is the OBI refactoring coming along?

this doesn't really capture a crucial difference with 4C, in that Hi-C allows all-by-all in an unbiased fashion. It seems also that we should have connections between evidence like this as SO terms for TADs.

3C-PCR evidence does not yet have an OBI mapping in eco-edit.owl on the obi-mapping branch as we are waiting on a new term addition into OBI (chromosome conformation capture assay). If the mapping is correct, it should infer that 3C-PCR is a child of PCR evidence. Will update this tracker item as soon as the mapping is implemented!
