Holiday Symbols #164

Do we have any other symbols that could be added to help draw holiday cards?

oskay commented 9 years ago

Well, there's a hanukkah menorah tool built in...

Very nice. I did not see that. I thought the button only made stars. Sometimes the objects show and sometimes they do not.

I actually prepped a set of SVG holiday designs for the EggBot, that could easily be used within RoboPaint: http://www.evilmadscientist.com/2013/ornaments/

Can we add this to the 0.9.x release?

I would suggest that it would be better to suggest the creation (or at least collection) of more example files, rather than adding symbols directly to RoboPaint. Built-in symbols are rather poor objects to work with.

What if we create some images that could be used to make cards for some of the upcoming holidays. Hanukkah Winter Solstice Christmas New Year Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad etc.

As @oskay mentioned, this is a good idea, best implemented as part of #120. I'm going to add a comment on that ticket to specify getting some good examples for these (and any other useful categories you might be able to think of). Also if you can either source (or draw) any creative commons/public domain images that paint well (or could be adjusted to paint well), we'd love to add to the list.
