Why is there no Left trigger and right trigger buttons ? #219

I know its in buttons to axis , but then in control panel ( hardware and sound) pressing LT and RT moves the z axis, but I want to turn on buttons 7 and 8 which I cannot figure out how

Because Left Trigger and Right trigger are Axes, not Buttons
I guess you are talking about Xbox controllers - If you see one merged axis for both triggers, then you are using DirectInput when you should be using XInput
