multiple fields in a page #202

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. using a tablet (Samsung Galaxy) added <group appearance="field-list"> to 
have more questions together.
2.Rendering ok, but when try to go to the second page directly from the first 
the validation on the fields is skipped.
3. if you then come back to the first page, you can not enter data because 
validation starts on the second page (msg: "Sorry the value is required")

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I was expecting normal behaviour, check on constraints and required fields. All 
the check fails and I'm blocked and can't continue

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

ODK collect 1.1.6
