collect 1.1.7 doesn't install on some devices

"I have already checked "unknown sources" in this tablet and i have uninstalled 
1.1.5 before installing 1.1.7 beta My device is an Archos 7 HT on Android 2.1 
It doesn't install on this sdk platform."

I bet this has to do with adding google's maps API.  We should test by 
installing cyanogen on a phone w/out google's apps and see if it'll install on 
that.

still works on my phone without maps.

i have some requests out for logging on devices where the install has failed.

I was having this same bug. I went into the Setting App > Applications and 
"Unknown Sources" was already checked. I unchecked it and then re-checked it. 
After I did that, the "Display on One Screen" function began working.
