Shift (caps) and FN key don't work on HTC ChaCha #33

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On HTC ChaCha hardware keyboard, press the shift key
2. Type any letter and see that it is not capitalized
3. Press FN key
4. Type any letter and see that instead of a fn character (dashes, quotes,
numbers, etc) the corresponding letter appears - that is, nothing happens, it
is like FN wasn't pressed.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- The letter should be capitalized when shift is pressed once, or all caps if
shift is pressed twice. Instead, the letters are still lower case, as if shift
wasn't pressed.
- Same thing for FN. When FN is pressed once, a secondary character, such as a
dash, bracket, question mark, quotes and so on should be typed, but instead the
letter for that key is typed. That is, it acts the same as if the key was not
pressed. The FN key does not work.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- Jota Text Editor: Ver. 0.2.29 (79)
- Android version: 2.3.5,
- HTC Sense version: 2.1 for Messenger

Please provide any additional information below.
This problem exists on large number of other text editors and word processors
on HTC ChaCha. On some of them it works when the shift or FN key is being held
while the letter is pressed (the way shift works on a PC, for example).

I hope you will decide to fix this issue, because I would really like to be
able to use this amazing editor, but without the ability to type numbers and
other characters, it is useless to me (you can't even write plain English
without the hyphen :( )

Thank you for your hard work.

Never mind, I found that the "special keys" for DesireZ also work for ChaCha.
You can close the issue.
I just have to say, your editor is freaking awesome.
