No indication of plugins being selected in chrome #6

Running chrome 25 on windows 8 (although it's been a constant issue on many versions of chrome). If I go to a text/layout plugin and within that, select a plugin (e.g. a link, an image set etc) then there is no indication that the plugin has been selected. It has been selected, and I can now edit the plugin, but there's no visual indication. On IE10 or firefox, the plugin gets a bounding box when it's clicked on, showing which plugin is selected.

It's a long-standing and complex issue. Addressing it will require some very fundamental changes to some of the software used in Arkestra. I'm closing the issue because there's nothing that can be done at the moment.
