ok i added a new series and it was succesful in getting the first and only issue! but a force recheck still wont get anywhere and sees error as abve.

evilhero commented 10 years ago

Make sure you have the http:// or https:// in front of the url you've entered into the newznab configuration for Nzbgeek . The module needs the full url.

I'm betting the initial get that worked was using some other provider other than Nzbgeek (it will say in the logs what site it got the nzb from).

stustaff commented 10 years ago

i dont have any other privider set up and url is 100% right i have even altered it and rebooted and retried. i did not change url betweeen working and not working.

stustaff commented 10 years ago

i should add ive also had support over on nzbgeek and they also pointed to URL but we have double checked it is correct and same settings api etc are working with other apps.

evilhero commented 10 years ago

You'll have to paste in a section of the mylar.log file since that holds debugging information. The log you pasted with that error indicates that you don't have a url specified (you put the actual url in the host/address portion of the newznab configuration not in the name field)

Also, try running Mylar in interactive mode so that any errors that occur will be displayed in the console window since if you run it as a daemon the traceback errors are suppressed.

evilhero commented 10 years ago

You have an empty newznab entry in your configuration.

16-Feb-2014 07:20:44 - DEBUG :: Thread-35 : newznab name:nzbgeek @ https://01100111011001010110010101101011.info/api 16-Feb-2014 07:20:44 - DEBUG :: Thread-35 : newznab name: @

The unknown url error is related to the blank newznab entry you have, not nzbgeek. Remove the entry (or disable it, but really why have an empty entry), save the configuration and restart Mylar. You should see those errors disappear.

As an aside, I dont think you need to have the /api in the url for nzbgeek, just the https://01100.....info should be enough (otherwise it's sending /api/api which probably won't work very well). But I don't know if they've deviated from the standard newznab api urls either.

Now if after doing that its working, but cant find the issue then that might be as simple as enabling some options ;-)

stustaff commented 10 years ago

thanks it is now fetching things... but I still have that gap from feb 1st to today so I wonder what happend! ill remove the empty one and see what to do.

i assume a force recheck will get the missing two weeks worth or do i need to do something else.

oh and yeh nzbgeek i have removed /api it was just a suggested issue solve.

stustaff commented 10 years ago

oh and for what its worth i thought that blank one was an open field for entering a new one! probably my own stupidity for not realising :)

evilhero commented 10 years ago

Well I've been meaning to clean up that section abit and add in some checks so that empty urls dont get searched for :-)

The force recheck would search for whatever is on your Wanted list..provided they exist with your provider it should get downloaded. Just keep in mind the .Now issue problem and that some issues are being posted with that extension, but Mylar (and comicvine) don't have the same corresponding issue number (ie. The pullist says 18.NOW but the Wanted list and issue details have just 18). In these cases you'd have to manually download it until I can get a fix going, which I'm working on.

thanks again :)
