private collection images behave erratically

• Operating system: Windows 7 SP1
• Pencil version: 3.0.4 I created shapes for a private collection using a mixture of images and existing shapes. Everything works just fine, except: After closing and reopening Pencil the images display broken links when dragged onto the canvas (icons on the left display just fine). Saving the page and restarting pencil will display the images correctly, though (implying that the image is there, just not displayed). I had a look at privatecollection.xml: the file-references direct to my tmp folder. I tried to fix this by using "Bitmap Image" in either form (Link image, embed image), problem persists exactly the same. Only thing that helps: generate stencil with all the parts for my shapes, import that and use those parts to create the private shapes. That may be a workaround, but it is quite awkward.

Additional information: (maybe this helps) If I create my shape by creating stencil from bitmap parts, using the parts to create my adaptive whole and then save it in a private collection, I must not create an instance from this saved shape, chenge something (e.g. some text) and save it in another collection. Then the newly saved shapes create again instances with broken links.
