selection of objects fails - grab hand disappears - probably after editing? (work around) #658

Quite regularly I get to the situation where I cannot select an object in some pages. If I switch to a different page then I can select the objects there, but when I switch back I still cannot edit the objects in the original page. I think this may be after I have selected an object and then changed page with it selected?

There is a work around which fixes this which is to try to add a new object to the page twice. The first time doesn't seem to work but the second time adds the object which can then be deleted and everything starts working again.

Expected behaviour: can always select objects on a page and move or change them Actual behavior: sometimes selection stops working on given pages.

Seeing the exact same behavior. I have to save, close and reload to correct it.
