Stoked for this! I've got a whole cobbled together setup exporting, zipping, and rotating on another vm manually 💃

@jalevin I'm glad someone will actually be using it! It's tagged & released as v1.6.5, so all you'd need to do is:

regenerate your site and enable the snapshots role when prompted
configure the relevant ansible variables -- I've added docs for this part, I hope they're clear enough
re-provision your production server to install and configure the backup job

Just an update: I've added some enhancements (and snapshot-related cap tasks!) in the latest 1.7.0 release, but it will require reprovisioning existing servers
