Copy example app dialog shows empty parent folder path name on OS X

Problem:

On OS X, when clicking COPY on an example in Evothings Studio 2.0 Beta 2, the dialog shows an empty value for the parent folder directory.

Clearing the files in ~/Library/Application Support/ did not help.

process.env.HOME returns the expected value.

Debug further to find the problem.

Turns out that this happens on a clean install. The path in the Settings dialog is also empty. Debug and fix.
