Include sample input and output data for examples given in README.md #10

The repository currently doesn't contain input and output data to allow the examples of use in the README.md file to be run and verified. This should be updated so that users can get a first level of assurance that the code has built correctly.

This was fixed by commits 9a82225b1a8d3b529c4f6660b59534e09a570fdd and 30e9057112d86dbd9804843f5d2bd1adef861eab.
