show aggregate statistics for returned crime points #2

In addition to showing all the crime points, it would be neat to have a 'stats' box on the side that shows:

crimes by type (violent, property, quality of life)
crimes by FBI code
crimes per day (or week,month year - guess it depends on the range selected)

Got this started, at least, this evening. I'm now collecting by a total by type. FBI Code should be pretty simple as well. By date might be tricky but I'll figure it out.
