Is there a way to enable core graphics after switching discrete graphics to primary graphics? #19

Hello, I'm running sddm+kde (both running under wayland) desktop on my intel+nvidia laptop, and after switching the nvidia to primary graphics using method 2 and 3, the core graphics seem to be disabled, although intel_gpu_top can see the integrated graphics status. mpv or obs can't call up the integrated graphics for codecs. I understand that the reverse prime of the intel and nvidia combo does not work from 'Prime and Wayland', is this problem currently unsolvable? Thanks for your work.

@lgdsgd2000 I assume you're using the "nvidia" proprietary driver? If so then there is no solution right now as far as I know.

If you use the open source nvidia "nouveau" driver for the eGPU then you should be able to use the intel gpu for video decoding at the same time. The nouveau driver is still much slower and less stable for gaming right now, but people are working now on making it much better so hopefully in the future this will become a good alternative.

Sorry, I don't know what software changed my font configuration in the last couple of days, emoji are showing up as spaces with two extra 🐷. Yes, I'm using the proprietary driver, and after a long search, it seems to be insoluble.
