Scrollbar scrolls to 'checkin' on venue screen, but not highlighted

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Switch to a venue page
2. Using the scrollball, scroll down once
3. You'll notice it unlighlights the 'Tips' tab, but nothing is highlighted
4. Scroll down again (if a todo is present, the todo is selected)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected some sort of visual clue that the 'checkin' button is selected

Instead I don't know where my scroll/selector has gone.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Latest (8/30)
Cupcake 1.5
G1 Dev Unit

The auto-checkin button needs a highlighted (in addition to disabled) state as 
well.
