quick check ins on android app doesn't sync with profile on the web

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.do a quick check in

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It shows up as last visited in "My Info" on the android app, but when I
visit my profile on the Web, the last place I visited was weeks ago.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The latest android app. I keep my updates up-to-date.

Please provide any additional information below.

Besides this issue of the quick checkin not syncing -- I also created a
venue and tried to check in there on my android device, and was unable to
check in there. Not sure why it wasn't working and not sure what I could do
to reproduce the issue. Just know that clicking check in did nothing and I
definitely had a 3G signal at the time.

Just an FYI, when I do quick checkin, it's *not* showing, even when I go to my 
info.
Don't know if that makes a difference.

Returning stability in foursquare.com should decrease the frequency of this 
happening.
