sorry for opening this but ive seen you have updated a file for the pop up problem. My question is how to update that single file or xpi with the updated file?

Loirooriol commented 7 years ago
  1. Go to about:support, search Profile Folder and click Show Folder button.
  2. Close Firefox.
  3. Go to the extensions folder, open the XPI with a ZIP program and extract its contents to some folder.
  4. Modify the extracted files.
  5. Add the modified files back to the XPI. Just dragging the files from the folder to the ZIP program usually works.

thnks...i was trying before and i am guessing the extra thing was the last point:) seems to be working now

Edit: After the restart firefox disable so unless sign the xpi normally cant use it

Hi @koullis22, just register Mozilla Developer Hub to sign it, follow https://github.com/ewwink/X-Notifier-Reloaded#signing-the-extension

am not any kind of programmer but i tried doing it following the steps provided and i got "Duplicate add-on ID found." I tried messing a bit around and then got this "Starting with Firefox 53, new add-ons on this site can only be WebExtensions."

So, Firefox is dead? And there will be no update shipped for X-Notifier Reloaded? The Yahoo-Fix only works on 2 of 3 accounts. All live/hotmail-accounts don't work. New-Tab-Tools just broke and Tab Mix Plus won't be finished when WebExtensions are introduced,

Loirooriol commented 7 years ago

@Cok3Zer0 All my Hotmail accounts work perfectly on Firefox 57 (I just posted a fix for an issue introduced by today's Nightly). You will only need to allow legacy extensions.

koullis22 commented 7 years ago

will you create v.26 with the fix as on 4.1.4?

icegenie commented 6 years ago

Will there be an update? That would be really appreciated.
