Background

in https://github.com/exasol/exasol-python-test-framework/issues/34 we extracted the checks from the script-languages tests and added them to this project
We only did minor refactorings to make sure we can easily reintegrate it in the script-languages tests
However, we also recognized that this code has major issues which we should fix
