VLC releases so slow these days, and won't ship your new update. Suggested to make your own separate extension updater #173

VLC 2.2.4, Windows 10 Anniversary Update x64 still have an issue for VLSubs 0.9, and they're far too late on their update roadmap schedule, like 4 months late based on their tracking page. to include a new update for VLSub to fix this.

VLSub both still not responding on Hex and name search. Here's my debug log

And I'll suggest to make your own update mechanism, separate ti VLC releases because the community seems so slow and inactive these days, and flight in on the next VLC update,

I have a few plans for the update mechanism in the next version. Eventually I'll drop the updates to my fork.

For Debian (and somehow Ubuntu) users - new vlc-plugin-vlsub is in sid now, and tomorrow should be in testing and jessie-backports. I'll try to urge maintainer in case of any future breaking changes.

@marsjaninzmarsa Thanks for that fam. I hope you push the Windows and Mac team to do the same also. Also there seems another weird problem that looks like isn't VLSub's fault this time, and it; looks like it's the VLC itself now. It's up to you to fix this. See the other thread here to see what I'm saying. See all the comments even mine too for the possible hypothesis on the root cause of this prob
