Can't download subtitle "code 401 Unauthorized" (200) #239

Hi, I can't download subtitle currently. I have this message error : code "401 Unauthorized" (200) Here is the pastebin : https://pastebin.com/RxfZQfUZ VLC 3.0.11 on Windows 10.

Apparently, one solution is to register on OpenSubtitle without forgetting to confirm your account through the activation link, then go in VlSub config (Show config menu) and provide your username and password. It worked for me.

Same here. I never needed a login before. VLC 3.0.8 VLsub 0.11.0 and 0.10.2

Like to confirm same error. Ubuntu 20.04, VLC 3.0.9.2 ... VLSUB 0.11.1 ... tried even adding username and password.

For some reason it seems to work on not depending on if my VPN is on or not.

After upgrading to Xubuntu 20.04 I got the same error. I deleted version 0.11 and am normally using version 0.10.2. VLC 3.0.9.2 Vetinari

For me works this version: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/videolan/vlc/3.0.17/share/lua/extensions/VLSub.lua I'm using Ubuntu 20.04
