Read the blog post

I have put together a blog post specifically on some of the features for JupyterLab MyST. There is a ton in here to highlight, and as we have just released support for JupyterLab v4, it is a good time to socialize it! 🚀

@stevejpurves and I are planning a webinar on the 5th, and we will also have a poster at SciPy the following week.

@agoose77 could you take a look at the blog and see if there are any changes? One of the main changes that I would like to make is adding citation support in the next few weeks as well as improve and merge some of the user-facing docs.

@stevejpurves could you add the future link to the YouTube video as well as take a pass on any edits?!

@choldgraf and @mmcky tagging you both if you want to take a read/edit as well!

I pinned the video links to githubs CDN, maybe some one else knows how to ensure that the static folder is copied properly in sphinx? This did work locally, but not on RTD.

Also thanks @roaldarbol for the tips on JupyterLab Desktop -- excited about the next steps on the LaPreprint template. 🚀

@rowanc1

Rabbit-hole links for cross-referenced content

Does this refer to cross-document referencing? I didn't track any JupyterLab work to make this work (we're single document for now).

For the "Rabbit hole links" - maybe we just take that out for now. It can work for figure in in a footnote, with an equation referenced etc. But it is all in a single document!

Thanks all for the help! Merging this in and will start promoting this in various circles! 🚀

Thanks @rowanc1 this is exciting.

I will send this around to the QuantEcon team to watch the video of it afterwards (as its 1am our time).

Will record! Making sure that Steve is awake for tag teaming the webinar! :)
