Migrate content to team compass #858

This PR takes content that is meant more for the team than for the external community, and migrates it over to the team-compass/. It also re-works some of the pages here to be pointers elsewhere in the stack, rather than being the source of truth for that information (e.g. our team/ page, or our contributing to the project page).

Am gonna merge this one since we have an approval, and we can iterate on the content in subsequent PRs.

There are a few gallery links broken but we can fix those in a follow-up PR.
