Hi @rkdarst the current meeting time is correct, and we did have the meeting then! The calendar is being shown in PST, however, which I just made #8 to highlight that.
Ideally the embedded calendar would be shown in the users timezone, but a quick search seems to show this might be somewhat involved. That would be a great little sphinx-extension!
Hopefully that note in #8 helps, and can close this issue when it is merged in. 🚀
Ah, I see. I assumed, without any other information and not looking too much, that it was a local timezone.
I didn't see the timezone anywhere, but looking again there are two ways I could have known:
&ctz=ctz=America%2FLos_Angeles
URL parameter in the iframe. If I remove the ctz
parameter from the calendar URL, it does show in my timezone correctly... so maybe try removing that if that does what you need?
Thanks, I'll try to come to a future meeting!
I am certain I checked that and it didn't work. Can verify that trying now, it does work! 🤷♂️
I have updated #8 with that approach, thank you! Looking forward to seeing you there. :)
Describe the bug
I tried to drop by a meeting last Wednesday as seen here: https://compass.executablebooks.org/en/latest/meetings/index.html
... but it didn't seem that there was anyone there, and those agendas aren't updated since earlier this year. Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong place, or has "12:00" in Google Calendar made me 12-hours off by some chance? I tried to drop by at 1669802400 to the jitsi seen in those agenda documents.
