I've upgraded to 2.10.14 from 2.10.12, and the fan-helper doesn't do anything anymore. If I try to increase the fan-speed, nothing happens; I know that because in my M2 Pro macmini the fan noise is quite audible at full speed.
My macos is 13.6.6. I downgraded to 2.10.11, but that didn't help.
Solved: I upgraded again to 2.10.14, uninstalled the fan-helper and reinstalled it, now it works again
