UI Design: a better way to see progression #13

Hello 😊

On the right sidebar I see my track progression:

Even if it's been more than a month that I am doing my exercises, it's never been clear to me my progress by checking this graphics at a glace . I always have to think about it, making some quick calculation, asking myself questions like "Overall what's my progress?".

According to me what's missing is a clear distinction between TOTAL, CORE and SIDE exercises progress.

Also, why the side exercises have more visual weight (by the little squares completion grid) than the core exercises? Logically the core exercises should have at least the same importance (probably more) than the side exercises.

A possible first iteration of this design could be:

Here we have more info in less space. But most importantly we have the info about the total progression.

This one is another more succint (less repetition, e.g. the completion ratio in the above iteration are repeated twice per kind of exercises) iteration:

If we want to keep the visual completion grid, this is an option:

If this is issue will be considered interesting I can produce more iterations and maybe help with the implementation.
