@vmarchitect Thanks for the helpful and detailed issue, and sorry for the frustration! When a mentor "times out" their submissions go back into the queue, so there is a chance that that is what's happened. However, we've had a couple of similar reports and so @kntsoriano is going to look into it. It'll probably be later this week when he'll get chance.
@kntsoriano This is another data point for https://github.com/exercism/bugs/issues/18
I've been working through the Kotlin track and I'm beginning to wonder if either my submission is getting lost in queue or if the queue calculations are incorrect. If memory serves when I submitted my solution, on 07/23 I believe, the queue report said there were 14 solutions ahead in the Kotlin queue and 1 solution ahead in the Saddle Points queue. Median wait time for mentoring on the exercise was at 2 months. The previous exercise had taken about 2 months to be mentored so I wasn't too surprised.
I checked in from time to time and saw the queue report go down to 6 solutions at one point with 0 solutions ahead in the Saddle Points queue. I checked in a couple days again and was surprised to see the queue go up to 12 solutions ahead with a 1 day median on the exercise with 0 solutions ahead in Saddle Points. Checking again today now shows 31 solutions ahead in the queue with a 10 hour median on Saddle Points. Is my solution lost and adrift, or a problem with the queue calculations, or something else entirely?
