I think that this was an experiment from before we knew we were going to redesign Exercism.
The impetus, I think, was that the CLI was difficult for some people to use.
Given that:
- we've redesigned the CLI
- added the interactive walkthrough to help people install it
- not seen any further commits on this for a year
I'm going to go ahead and archive it.
For anyone interested in potentially picking this up, please open an issue in http://github.com/exercism/exercism/issues to discuss, as this now needs to be considered from a product perspective.

What's the current state of the GUI Repository, I notice that the last commit was about a year ago, what's the current status? Has the gui been abandoned? I'd be interested what the original push was in creating the gui and if it's still desired.
