A referenced issue was not linked, I presume because the referenced issue is closed? Removed And from the beginning of a sentence.

Github applies more markup magic to comments than it does to regular files. So it will link #109 written in this comment to the issue but wouldn't in a markdown file.

I'm fine with these changes. Also note to self: let's rewrite this to not be first-person narrative...
