Deployment tweaks #3

Hi @TreyAguirre @xitanggg,

I had to make a few live tweaks to the deployed code to get it to work. I think I've replicated them all in here.

I'm not a Python person, well not for a long while anyhow, so you may well want to just use this as a basis to do it differently.
