@SleeplessByte I believe this PR is needed after the sync (https://github.com/exercism/typescript/pull/1273), I didn't notice this detail

@gregsadetsky This PR needs one more change, one of those two:

• Either change the input in this test not to have a question mark, or
• Update the example solution in exercises/practice/word-count/.meta/proof.ci.ts to remove question marks from the input, so that the tests of example solutions pass on CI.

You can run the tests against the example solution locally with ASSIGNMENT=practice/word-count yarn test
