[Feature Request]: helm chart #21

What feature would you like to have in the provider?

A helm chart to deploy the CSI

Hi, thanks for the FR. We currently don't plan to provide Helm Charts. However if there is enough interest among users, we will consider it.

@sauterp Let's maybe keep the issue open so other user can raise their interest?

If we contribute the chart, will you maintain it? That will help to decide how we proceed (internal fork or contribution).

Sure, we can keep it open. Whether it's open or not, I'll get notified if people react to this issue.

Unless there is a lot of interest in this, we won't maintain a contributed Helm chart. You're welcome to create your own Helm chart of course.

Thanks for providing your feedback.

It seems that an official helm chart maintained by us would only serve a very small number of users and be a lot of effort for us.

We recommend that our users install the CSI on SKS through the Addon we provide. It is very easy to enable. All that is needed is a click in the portal or a CLI command or a variable in a terraform manifest. Documentation is here
