This ticket is just to record some discovered info to avoid investigating again.
The game has CD Audio option which can be turned on from inside the games sound options menu accessed during gameplay. When used however there is an audio loop in some of the music like the initial screen. Multiple CD versions have been tried and the loop is present on all Dosbox forks. The games music when CD Audio is switched off is identical anyway and doesnt loop so we decided to just switch off the CD audio as the solution.
Might be interesting at some point for someone to test the game on real hardware or via PCem\86Box
