Adding @xmarksthespot81
(@exoscoriae , @Python-Exoproject : suggest adding 'not cracked' label)
Hey friends!
I´ve patched v1.05 - hope this is the same version you have, but should be.
Here you go: https://archive.org/details/microprose-formula-one-grand-prix-v-1.05-patch
Floppy Image used: https://archive.org/details/003455-FormulaOneGrandPrix
Please tell me if it did work out.
Game On!

Confirmed working on my side. Thank you, @xmarksthespot81!
The executable size has been significantly reduced, too:
GP.EXE
: 321878 bytesGP.EXE
: 170261 bytesGreat! If you wonder why the File Size differs: It‘s because I‘ve packed it with UPX.

@interloper98 the patch was taken down from archive. would you mind just attaching it here please?
Argh.. I don't have it anymore :face_exhaling: ; looks like I dropped that directory, and only have the original eXoDOS zip of the game left.
@xmarksthespot81 - can you please re-attach it as a zip here?
That's really unfortunate archive.org considers a crack to be against their TOS.. when cracks are actually legal :man_facepalming:
I wouldn't be surprised if there are people just going around reporting everything they don't like, and archive's system just auto removes stuff

damn.. :hurtrealbad:
interesting.. when I pull the metadata for the IA item, it's still there.. but made "dark":
ia metadata microprose-formula-one-grand-prix-v-1.05-patch | python -m json.tool
{
"created": 1727381804,
"d1": "ia600509.us.archive.org",
"d2": "ia800509.us.archive.org",
"dir": "/1/items/microprose-formula-one-grand-prix-v-1.05-patch",
"is_dark": true,

}
Apparently staff at archive.org can un-dark items. Any IA employees on the team?
they never actually delete anything.
I've reached out and asked if it is possible to get a copy of the file sent over.
seems @xmarksthespot81 has chosen to remove all of their work from archive. I'm not sure if something about our project upset him, or if other life issues got invovled. Sad to see such a productive person disappear though.
