Drag n drop import wallet crashes

Accounts-->Import Accounts. Had to import by copying into the keystore directory because the wallet disappeared when I dropped the file into the square. Windows 10 latest updated ver. gexp 1.6.1 Beta

Please check the already existing issues to keep duplicates at a minimum.

Furthermore several work-arounds have been collected in the Mist-Troubleshooting-Guide.

If possible add the following to your report:

• Screenshots

• Check the console, of Mist (CTRL/CMD + ALT + i) and take a screenshot

• Log files

  • go to menu -> accounts -> backup -> application data
  • zip and upload node.log and all other node.log.X files

I can confirm this bug still exists in version 0.8.10.

I also still have this problem

I just copied the JSON file into the location C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Roaming\Expanse and then i retrieved my account
