I've gotten it working and can load the presets. Here's a high level breakdown of what I did 1) you need to get the racemenu mod for oldrim 2) unzip it into a working area 3) convert all of the NIF using the SSE NIF Optimizer 4) convert the 2 ESP to form 44 (there are some you tube vids on this, lost the links though) 5) copy the files from both SKSE plugins into the mod file structure 6) copy the interface files into the interface directory (I wimped out here and copied the 'export' directory into interface and the export files into interface dir...so there's 2 copies) 7) zip the working area into your SSE version of racemenu
It's really not that bad once you look at the video on converting oldrim to sse
Starting from the Skyrim SE install directory, in what directory should the SKSE files be installed?
Do you need to create SKSE/plugins and put them there? Or, does SKSE go under /Data (thus, /Data/SKSE/Plugins)?
Apologies if this a dumb question. XP32 says SKEE is required.
No worries. picking up on modding is not the easiest thing!
I don't remember creating the SKSE directory, I believe it happens when the game is started after SKSE is installed.
Keep in mind you will need to launch skyrim with skse64_loader.exe instead of the normal executable.
I don't understand how to install this, can someone please tell me if I have all the relative paths correct in this list of files which are all from the downloaded 7zip file? Please note, I am using Mod Organizer 2 and Skyrim Second Edition.
SkyrimSE\Data\hudextension\Interface\Exported\floatingwidget.swf SkyrimSE\Data\hudextension\Interface\Exported\hud_extension.swf SkyrimSE\Data\hudextension\Interface\Exported\hud_extension_config.txt SkyrimSE\Data\hudextension\SKSE\Plugins\hudextension.dll
