It's can be kind of fuel, for example Ethanol abbreviated as Etoh

I would opt for Joule, as it also represents work in SI

I think it is not good to use physical units since consumed energy depends on underlying hardware. It is better to use some abstract things like ethereum gas. Pravda Gas, Pravda Spirit, Pravda Joul.
