inlet/outlet sensors not updating automatically #45

Closed andrewradin closed 1 year ago

The inlet and outlet temperatures no longer update automatically in home assistant. The temperature stays the same for days. The temperature will update if i start the control-R 2.0 android app and click "refresh results" on the status page. For what it's worth the temperatures reported in the control-R 2.0 android app and in home assistant are consistent.

After installing a new control-R this bug was exposed, and I now have two of them associated with my rinnai account. With my older and single control-r this wasn't an issue. It is possible having two control-R devices is related to this problem, or not.

Can you check to see if the maintenance retrieval is checked under option when you click on configure for the integration?

If it is enabled, try toggling it off and saving and then toggling it back on and saving again. I had a bug #34 that caused this setting to get messed up on occasion.

It was checked (has been untouched for over a year), and unchecking, saving, checking and saving fixed it.

Perhaps the bug is “run maintenance interval checkbox does not propagate to newly added (second) control-r device when more than one control-r device exists”. Just a guess.

Possibly as you are the first I have come across with 2. I know when the setting was first introduced I had a value wrong and it didn't set it correctly even though it appeared it did after the fix came out.

I am glad it is working again though.
