Unable to Add new modules or New items in 2.5.0 Patch 1 on Ubuntu 16 #1487

I have upgraded several sites to 2.5.0 and have a persistent bug that is preventing me from creating new modules or adding new items to existing modules.

This might be an issue with upgrading to MySQL v5.7.x and 'strict' mode

This should be fixed with the recent code update which works in MySQL v5.7.x 'strict' mode. To be released as v2.5.1patch1
