Installation not working with Parse Error #103

Hi :),

I try to install the inventory system and do it via the AssetLib, as described in the tutorial (https://github.com/expressobits/inventory-system/wiki/Installing-Inventory-System). It also says "no conflicts",

but after the installation I get a lot of error messages:

It is also not showing the inventory option in the top bar:

I also restarted godot after the installation.

Furthermore I found two I believe missing .tres files in the installation file, when I checked all things that are installed. Could that be the issue?

Do you have an idea what I am doing wrong? I use Godot4

I hope to look more calmly tomorrow, but an initial thing that can be done is to delete the .godot folder from your project, as it looks like asset import errors

EDIT: Maybe one more thing, that I think is weird:

When I open the add on in the asset library there is this red error looking icon. Is there maybe something wrong with the version I download from the server?

When I open the add on in the asset library there is this red error looking icon. Is there maybe something wrong with the version I download from the server?

That basically now destroyed my whole project. It was just for testing anyways, but a bit annoying. I get this message:

followed by errors, that all my other scripts could not be found. I will eventually have to try and revert all of that.

This did not do a thing. Same errors as before I changed the global_script_class_cache.cfg

Thank you for your help, but I think I will just manually build an inventory, as this is too difficult to install for me. Maybe there is a chance for you to review it and post an updated version of your inventory, then I would be happy to try it out again.

Yes, I understand your indignation, I am also porting the inventory system to C++ in dlls, I had a lot of problems with gdscript in this regard, I just wanted to make it clear that this import of scripts is a 4.2 problem.

Currently adding a module does not solve this problem either.
