Redgifs CORS functionality not working again #1194

Describe the bug jquery-3.2.1.js:9566 GET https://api.gfycat.com/v1/gfycats/distantloathsomelcont 404 (Not Found) www.reddit.com/:1 Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://api.redgifs.com/v1/gfycats/distantloathsomelcont' from origin 'https://www.reddit.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: The 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header has a value 'https://www.redgifs.com' that is not equal to the supplied origin. jquery-3.2.1.js:9566 GET https://api.redgifs.com/v1/gfycats/distantloathsomelcont net::ERR_FAILED 404

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to reddit.com
  2. Hover over a redgifs link with the JS console open
  3. See related error

The fix is available in version 1.0.209.

great, I still have Version 1.0.208, how do I install the new version or do I have to wait until the software does it ?

You have to wait until Google pushes the update to everybody.
