Various feature requests. #171

Just a few things I think would be cool.

And finally, this is a feature in Imagus that I think is really great and would be an awesome addition to Hover Zoom+. I'd really like to switch to HZ+ but there are a few vital settings in Imagus that are pretty essential to me and this is the most important one. So I decided to just ask if it would be possible to add these options to HZ+. The developers here seem a lot more approachable and accommodating than the Imagus dev, e.g. listening to constructive criticism and adding requested features to the extension. Feature explanation below (it's called "Full-Zoom" in the Imagus preferences, for anybody who would like to try it out and see what I'm talking about:)

When you're hovering over an image, you can right-click (or long-press right-click, this is configurable in options) and the image will 'stick' to the center of the screen, in full resolution no matter your screen resolution. It also works for gifs/supported videos as well. That way you can move your mouse around and the image will stay on your screen, you don't have to continue hovering. This enables a few cool things.

The first is, when in this mode, you can scroll your mousewheel to zoom in and out. The second thing is that this mode allows you to access the progress bar and play/pause buttons on gifs/supported videos. Since scrolling your mousewheel makes the image zoom in/out, the way to scroll through albums is to scroll your mousewheel in the top 50x50px of your browser window OR scroll your mousewheel above the image counter for the album.

You just single left-click anywhere to make the image go away.

Is there any possibility of adding these option? Please let me know!

Also please let me know if I should delete this post and resubmit each specific feature request in a different post. I wasn't sure if putting them all in this one post would be easier for you guys vs 4 different posts.

Thanks!

Thanks for suggestions, @Vismund-Cygnus. They are certainly interesting, but this whole new imagus-style mode of working with zoomed images would be quite time consuming to implement. There are no "devs" on this project - I'm the only one maintaining it in my spare time. Sometimes I receive small pull requests, but mostly it's just me. So I'll be able to add small features here and there when I have time, but no major changes will happen without some kind of external help.

Other than "full zoom" (which is a feature I want too), I think everything else in this request has been addressed. Maybe it makes sense to mark this as fixed and file a separate issue specifically for the zoom mode (Which is indeed the best feature of Imagus).

Though maybe #295 is kinda that feature so probably can use that for tracking?

295 seems related but this issue has a better description. I'm ok with leaving both issues open for now since they are linked to each other.
