Zoom only works 1ST time over an image in FB #713

DESCRIPTION have noticed in the past few months: hover zoom only zooms images on FB timeline ONCE: after move mouse off image and back again, it will no longer zoom.

URL Any FB page or post or timeline facebook.com

STEPS

  1. hover over an image
  2. it zooms
  3. move off image, then back again
  4. it does not zoom anymore
  5. I tried another Chrome browser window with NO other extensions installed (like FBP), same issue

OS Chrome Version 89.0.4389.114 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hi @Moogjam I can not reproduce this issue with latest release of HZ+ (1.0.173), please provide a link so we can investigate.

@Moogjam A link to some specific post would be helpful. Also it might be that Facebook put you into one of the experimental UI changes which causes this problem.

Thanks. What I'm determining: Links that are to OUTSIDE SOURCE images seem to work fine, and zoom repeatedly. But images that users post directly only zoom once.

eg: here's a link that was posted on a FB group, it works fine, zooms repeatedly while viewing in my FB timeline: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/327063.Hide_and_Seek?ac=1&from_search=true&qid=Y3FYHK6ma2&rank=1

but this image, posted by a user in a FB group, viewed on my timeline, only zooms ONCE: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10157834894711899&set=gm.3912182802193644&__cft__[0]=AZXRO9BVefx1dk1lNF4bJ00t-5f8mm31t7-MyYQEyJKA5LiYpnWlPas18f5Q-ZQ1tbBShAzkqvy9L3SyIChmjqGzNYZRpxADiyvBbUjASqLPwUblfHDAtNGxikEzFDaN6VQnj_-RUtZNMRDllvjC7_v6ftsBK5ayjotRQUC_rbLUmqJKXI_otydD3dlX2WBQo3c&__tn__=EH-R

And yet this one is weirder still, private image, it won't zoom at all but I get a teeny tiny little pop up window, cropped screenshot here: image
