Feature request: Replace Flash with HTML5/JS uploader #13

We see Flash disappearing from the market more and more. Therefore It would be good move to drop Flash uploader and replace it with HTML5 / JS file upload. There are some ready to use solution available already. This is beyond my skills unfortunately. Maybe one of devs could look into it as EvoGallery is the best gallery option for Evolution users in my opinion and should be keeped closer to the MODX core.

Yeah, I know, right? Seriously we have to drop it. I can help with styling new uploader CSS if there will be need for that.

Hmm, I just noticed there is no good documentation yet for SimpleGallery*

That's cool but it is not about EvoGallery alternative but EvoGallery improvement :) Anyway would be nice to see SimpleGallery fully documented in english.

@fourroses666 @pmfx You can try SimpleGallery using my development site copy: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/41241876/develop.zip There's dump of DB in assets/backup, manager login is admin/123 Almost complete documentation in Russian is available at http://docs.evolution-cms.com/Extras/Plugins/SimpleGallery Maybe somebody finds time to translate. By the way, SG's interface is translated in English.

I've had calls from several clients who don't see the "Browse" button anymore. Firefox started to block the button too.

I don't think anybody will fix this soon, so I would recommend you to convert your galleries to SimpleGallery. Thats what I did lately and I have to say that it's very good :)
