I'm aware. The message is a reminder that we still need to find a new source for that information, since coriolis.io no longer provides it.
It's not an actual problem, it just means the "Default Ship Index" has to be manually updated whenever ED gets new ships until a new source is found.
It's been well over 6 months now and I don't think we are likely to see a new source any time soon, if ever. Updating the ship index is a thing we used to have to do in "the olden days" and really is only going to be a thing once per major update so I don't think it's so terrible onerous to accept we do it ourselves and lose this error message.
It'd be a lot more complicated than simply downloading a single json, uinfortunately, but we could still do it automatically using this: https://github.com/EDCD/coriolis-data/tree/master/ships
Getting rid of the error message is certainly a good idea though.
No longer applicable.
Hello,
Doing an initial import from eddblink on 10.11.3 and I notice the following:
It looks like the whole
data
directory on both the beta subdomain and the upper domain name are absent now.I do not know yet if this is an actual problem or not.
