Detection of links in comments should be improved #1058

I would like the detection of URLs in the comments to include links with hash 
(#) symbols.

Currently, URLs containing hash symbols are not converted to links, see the 
attached file.

I would personally prefer to remove the "clickable" aspect of detected links, 
as it messes with the user's expected behavior of editing text. At least on 
Linux, if a line ends with a URL the clickable link target extends all the way 
to the right edge of the editing frame, which is annoying. Ideally the 
clickable link target would not extend past the actual link text, or not be 
there at all.
