Addition to Tre #1131

What change would like to see?

Add a battery backed up RTC to it

Why?

Seems like a logical thing to have on it and shouldn't be too hard to add if 
it's not in production yet

Would this cause any incompatibilities with previous versions?  If so, how
can these be mitigated?
