When using yad with the --notification option, it displays an icon in the
notification area.
Unfortunately, yad still uses the older method, and Canonical in all its wisdom
has decided to no longer support the old method. I have not understood the
reason why, but Mark Shuttleworth is immovable on this point.
This means that yad needs to be updated to the new method (the new method will
still work on older distributions and non-Ubuntu distributions).
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use yad --notification on Ubuntu 13.04 (still in beta, but being released
later this month).
2. The yad icon does not display.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. The yad icon should be shown.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1. yad version 0.20.3
2. Ubuntu version 13.04
